Network 21 Signs Cabinet Office Pygmalion Framework Agreement
December 10, 2007; Antony Bernstein
Network 21 is pleased to announce that it has been accepted onto the Cabinet Office’s
Pygmalion Framework Agreement. After a comprehensive procurement process involving a 2 stage
assessment process with the Cabinet Office’s E-Delivery Team, Network 21 has now agreed the
framework agreement along with the final approved list of suppliers, all of which now form a
Specialist IT Suppliers catalogue.
The purpose of Pygmalion is to establish a core specialist supplier’s catalogue, with which a
number of government departments can use to call upon whenever they require specialist skills and
resources for projects. These projects are expected to be up to the value of £250k and the
framework agreement will last for a four year period.
Network 21 initially responded in July on the basis of a Consortium approach. Primed by
Clicks and Links Ltd, the consortium possesses the talents and experience of leading public sector
consultancies, independent consultants and specialist agencies, which has allowed Network 21 to
respond to all of Lot 1’s Strategic Consultancy requirements. Many of the consortium members
have previously been involved in some of the highest level transformational government projects
over the past few years and this experience has helped ensure that Network 21’s proposition to the
Cabinet Office was compelling and ultimately successful.
Vin Sumner, MD of Clicks and Links Ltd stated “Our involvement in the Pygmalion Framework
Agreement is an excellent opportunity for Network 21 to demonstrate how SMEs can collaborate with
one another to participate on large scale government-led ICT projects. It provides us with an
excellent footing for the consortium and as a result we now look forward to working on some leading
public sector projects.”
